BIG Workshop:
Nationwide Small Business Intensive:
Evolving Your Business Past A Crisis

This intensive will place you in a community of like-minded individuals. You will leave with ways to think strategically, clearly, and feel supported in BIG action.

We will …

  • Explore the community leadership role of small business owners
  • Center ourselves in systems change and antiracism practices to create lasting change and impact
  • Examine each participant’s current business model and figure out where to go from here
  • Determine what isn’t working for you, and show you how to grow what is
  • Share resources with one another to build coalitions and camaraderie, ultimately strengthening our collective network
  • Discuss real solutions to challenges (such as business loans, grants, and more)

How Are We Doing This?

Through two weekend intensives, facilitators Vicki Pozzebon and Rae Miller will both cultivate space for you to examine and thoughtfully move through our current shifts in business AND give you tangible planning tools to keep moving forward.

Over the course of two weekends, each intensive will offer up 16 hours of facilitated conversation, followed up by a monthly meeting (time TBD by the group). All sessions will be held via Zoom. Participants will have access to a community of practice, one hour of one-on-one consulting, a digital workbook, and other content curated to the needs of the group.

Who Will Lead This? Vicki & Rae:

Vicki designs and facilitates BIG Communities of Practice that will inspire community leaders and social entrepreneurs for transformational action. She has helped clients develop and grow programs and their business by identifying key strategies for success including marketing, press, and business planning. Read Vicki’s latest blog on communities of practice, here.

Rae believes in work that provides real solutions to our most pressing problems and establishes systems for collaborative growth moving forward. Like Vicki, she shares a talent for creating spaces that guide and inspire sustainable change for leaders and communities and has hand-tailored this experience to both create and inspire new community leaders.

Participating in a community of practice gave me continued faith in my idea and myself. Having a community who supported my journey, held me accountable, and offered perspectives from different areas of expertise was so valuable. Also, Vicki is a badass. Acting as both coach and facilitator, she pays attention to your needs and delivers accordingly.
