Urban Food Project Planning
Utilizing a US Economic Development Administration grant, we partnered with local consultants on the ground in Newark to grow LPCCD’s position as a community development leader in sustainable urban development. Working within the lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and community advocacy, our assessments included community convenings and a strategy to create jobs through viable local food production and filling in the gaps in Newark’s emerging local food system.
